A GREAT PIECE OF ARCHITECTURE

This is the Montreal Biosphere, Canada, 1967. The architect of this master piece was Richard Buckminster Fuller. The dome shape is designed using the concept of 'TENSEGRITY' which is taken from the word Tens(ion) and (Int)egrity by R. Buckminster Fuller. Architect Richard Buckminster Fuller stated that domes are energy-efficiency and ease of construction. The Montreal Biosphere is used as an Environment Museum since 1990.
